It's a very good game, especially as jam game. Writing is awesome, I was engaged in plot through whole gameplay. I very liked characters and bought relationships between them. Worldbuilding is also very good, I was thrilled by monsters and idea with space were incredible. Arts are very good and climatic. Music and sound design helped me get immersed. Fights were interesting, I had to thought at times during them.
Thanks for the review!
We're glad you enjoyed our game.
would you still love me if i was not-a-worm?
But seriously, amazing job! It was a bit heart-warming to finally play the full release after seeing how hard everyone was working.
What can i say. The graphics? Amazing. Music and sound? Phenomenal. The story itself? Captivating. I'm yet to find all the endings and i'm curious to see what else i'll encounter. It's important not to make games with multiple endings boring (after all, several playthroughs can get a bit tedious) - but from what i saw the mechanics and the narrative will keep the journey interesting.
In my opinion it has a great length for a visual novel. You definitely need to sacrifice a bit of your time, but not too much (of course with ending hunting it'll take more time, but that's a sacrifice i'm willing to make).
There were a few typos and other grammar mistakes, but it's only natural when working on a game that has a deadline.
As for the combat: it was quite challenging at times, but that's the magic of dices i guess. I managed to successfully fight my way through the game with my two brain cells tho, so everything's good.
Final thoughts:
+ Amazing artwork, music, sound design
+ Overall great worldbuilding
- I couldn't put the entirety of The Bee Movie script as my name
Thanks for the review!
I'll consider releasing a DLC that raises the name input character limit to the exact length of the Bee Movie script.
